Robinhood Markets (HOOD) is launching US equity options trading for its UK customers starting Tuesday, media outlets reported Tuesday, citing Jordan Sinclair, president of Robinhood UK.
The company received UK regulatory approval to offer options trading to retail investors in the UK, according to the reports. Last year, the company also launched margin trading in the UK.
Sinclair said the company also plans to introduce stocks and shares Individual Savings Accounts within the next year to allow UK investors to contribute up to 20,000 pounds sterling ($24,777) annually with tax-free gains, Bloomberg reported.
