Charter Hall Social Infrastructure REIT Swings to Profit in Fiscal H1 as Revenue Rises

Charter Hall Social Infrastructure REIT (ASX:CQE) reported Tuesday earnings in the fiscal half year of AU$0.083 per unit, compared with a loss of AU$0.029 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Visible Alpha expected earnings per unit of AU$0.0793.

Operating earnings per unit fell to AU$0.076 from AU$0.08.

Revenue for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2024, was AU$59.8 million, up past 1.5% from AU$58.9 million in the same period a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha expected AU$60.4 million.

The media firm announced plans to conduct a buyback of units of up to AU$25 million. It increased its fiscal 2025 distribution guidance to AU$0.152 per unit from AU$0.15.
