2月6日，延安能化公司召开1月份工作总结会，公司党委书记、执行董事、总经理王荣斌强调要高质高效推进项目建设，相关单位要紧盯乙丙橡胶装置二线年底投产这一目标，加强协调联动，明确工作标准和时间节点，同步开展MMA中试、PBE中试建设和5万吨/年MMA、5万吨/年PMMA、5万吨/年乙丙橡胶三个项目的可研审查、立项报批等各项工作，毫不动摇推进“三羰三材”专精特新项目建设。

　　2024年实现400吨/年MMA中试

　　2024年5月25日，中试装置在陕西延安顺利开工运行。该装置是目前国内首套乙烯羰基酯化制甲基丙烯酸甲酯全流程中试装置，是中国海油集团公司级科研项目，且与陕西延长石油延安能源化工有限公司联合申报的陕西省科技厅“揭榜挂帅”项目。该装置的成功开工将有助于我国掌握该领域前沿生产技术，获得甲基丙烯酸甲酯市场的主动权，解决该领域的“卡脖子”技术，具有重要现实意义和经济效益。

　　2022年起，项目由中海油材科院牵头，联合中海油石化工程有限公司和延安能化开展联合攻关，开发出低温高选择性的羰基酯化钯系催化体系和醛酯气相缩合碱催化剂，打通了以乙烯、甲醇、一氧化碳和甲醛为原料，经两步法制MMA工艺路线。

　　2023年9月5日，延安能化公司400吨/年甲基丙烯酸甲酯（MMA）中试项目现场开工建设。
