Indonesia's Consumer Confidence Index came in at 127.2 in January, indicating consumer optimism during the month remained high, according to a Tuesday release from Bank Indonesia, citing the latest Consumer Survey conducted by Bank Indonesia in January.
The central bank attributed the positive sentiment to a strong Current Economic Condition Index (CECI) and Consumer Expectation Index (CEI).
The CECI remained in optimistic territory at 113.5, while CEI jumped to 140.8.
