Tilray Brands (TLRY) said Monday it has completed the first phase of its cannabis supply chain expansion, which involved resuming operations at its Aphria One and Aphria Diamond facilities in Canada.
The company said these facilities, previously scaled back during the pandemic, will now add 60 metric tonnes of cannabis production annually, boosting its Canadian cultivation capacity to 210 metric tonnes.
As part of Phase 2, Tilray said it plans to begin planting at its outdoor cultivation site in Cayuga, Ontario, this spring, with phase 1 harvest sales expected later this year and phase 2 harvests starting in October.
The company said the expanded capacity is intended to meet increasing demand in both domestic and international markets, particularly in Europe.
