智通财经APP获悉，美国制药巨头礼来公司(LLY.US)近日宣布，与澳大利亚生物技术公司AdvanCell达成合作协议，双方将共同研发用于癌症治疗的阿尔法疗法(Alpha Therapies)。
AdvanCell是一家专注于放射性疗法的生物技术公司，其核心技术是阿尔法同位素发生器，该技术解决了靶向阿尔法疗法中最大的问题，即稳定且可扩展的同位素供应。这一突破性技术有望为癌症患者提供更可靠的治疗方案。
根据协议，AdvanCell将提供其Pb-212(铅-212)生产技术及放射性核素开发基础设施，与礼来公司的在研药物管线结合，推进一系列靶向阿尔法疗法的研发。Pb-212是一种放射性同位素，可用于精准靶向癌细胞，减少对健康组织的损害，提高疗效的同时降低副作用。
目前，AdvanCell研发管线中最先进的候选药物ADVC001已进入I/II期临床试验，主要用于治疗前列腺癌。这一合作有望加速该疗法的开发进程，为癌症患者带来新的治疗希望。
