GameStop (GME) and MicroStrategy (MSTR) shares were up in early Monday trading after GameStop Chief Executive Ryan Cohen posted a photo of himself and MicroStrategy co-founder and board chairman Michael Saylor on his X account.
Ryan's post provided no text explaining the photo or his presumed meeting with Saylor. GameStop has been popular stock for so-called meme traders the past few years and some may be speculating the two may soon partnering on a bitcoin or another cryptocurrency-related venture involving GameStop, according to a CNBC report.
GME and MSTR shares were up 4.8% and 2%, respectively in recent trading.
