Canadian Solar (CSIQ) said Monday its e-STORAGE unit will supply 960 megawatt-hours of battery storage systems for a project in South Australia part of a contract with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners.
The company said e-STORAGE will provide construction services and long-term operational support for the Summerfield project.
The project will use more than 200 SolBank 3.0 battery containers and will store excess renewable energy for later use, Canadian Solar said.
