港铁公司(00066.HK) 宣布，正有序推展东涌线延线项目，当中接驳未来东涌东站的大型改道工程，将于4月19日深夜进行第二次道岔安装工序。为配合相关工序，当晚往来东涌站至欣澳站的列车服务将提前于晚上约11时许完结。工程团队会尽力确保工程顺利进行，让东涌线于翌日(4月20日）恢复正常服务，头班车如期开出。
东涌线延线项目正在现有东涌站和欣澳站之间兴建新的东涌东站。为配合东涌东站的新轨道，港铁公司须进行大型改道工程，并按规划自去年底起分四次进行其中的关键道岔安装工序。
鉴于去年10月26日深夜为配合首次道岔安装工序而作出的东涌线服务调整安排整体畅顺有序，今年4月19日深夜的安排将会大致相同。港铁呼吁乘客留意相关尾班列车的开出时间，公司亦会在东涌站及欣澳站之
