特朗普政府在美国疾病控制与预防中心（CDC）裁员1300人，缩减这个公共卫生机构以削减整个联邦政府的成本。

　　据知情人士透露，此次裁员人数约占疾控中心员工总数的10%，主要针对任职两年或更短的试用期员工。

　　这是小罗伯特·F·肯尼迪周四宣誓就任美国卫生与公众服务部部长后的首批举措之一，该部门负责监管总部位于亚特兰大的CDC。

　　尚不清楚该机构的哪些部门受到裁员影响。但是CDC正在努力追踪和遏制各种疾病，特别是禽流感的爆发。美国已有近70人感染禽流感，并有1人死亡。
