Energy
iShares US Energy ETF (IYE) and Energy Select Sector SPDR (XLE) both added about 0.9% each.
Technology
Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLK) rose 0.1%; iShares US Technology ETF (IYW) and iShares Expanded Tech Sector ETF (IGM) were higher.
SPDR S&P Semiconductor (XSD) added 0.1%, and iShares Semiconductor (SOXX) edged up slightly.
Financial
Financial Select Sector SPDR (XLF) gained 0.4%. Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) rose 1.1%, and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) fell 1%.
Commodities
Crude oil dropped 0.6%, and the United States Oil Fund (USO) dipped 0.5%. Natural gas was up 2.9%, and the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) advanced 2.6%.
Gold was down 1.5% on Comex, and SPDR Gold Shares (GLD) fell 1.4%. Silver added 0.4%, and iShares Silver Trust (SLV) rose 0.2%.
Consumer
Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR (XLP) lost 0.6%; Vanguard Consumer Staples ETF (VDC) and iShares Dow Jones US Consumer Goods (IYK) were lower.
Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR (XLY) was down 0.2%; retail fund VanEck Vectors Retail ETF (RTH) lost 0.3%, and SPDR S&P Retail (XRT) fell 0.4%.
Health Care
Health Care Select Sector SPDR (XLV) was down 0.5%, and iShares US Healthcare (IYH) and Vanguard Health Care ETF (VHT) were lower. IShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) lost 0.3%.
Industrial
Select Sector SPDR-Industrial (XLI) fell 0.3%, and Vanguard Industrials (VIS) and iShares US Industrials (IYJ) were lower.
