American depository receipts of WeRide more than doubled after Nvidia disclosed a stake in the Chinese autonomous-driving company.
WeRide ADRs were recently up 91%, to $32.82, after reaching an all-time high of $42.24 earlier in the Friday trading session.
Earlier Friday, chip-maker Nvidia disclosed in a securities filing that it had accumulated about $1.7 million shares of WeRide. Based on the latest trading price, the ADRs would be worth around $57.1 million.
WeRide, which went public in October, operates driverless vehicles in 30 cities across nine countries.
