Koppers Raises Dividend by 14%

The board of Koppers Holdings has raised the company's quarterly dividend by a penny, to 8 cents a share.

The maker of wood products and wood-treatment chemicals said the new dividend will be paid out on March 24 to shareholders of record as of March 7.

On an annualized basis, the new payout is 32 cents a share and represents a yield of about 1% based on Tuesday's closing price of $30.66.
