Atomera's (ATOM) shares sank more than 40% amid heavy trading Wednesday after the company reported overnight a year-over-year decline in Q4 revenue.

Intraday trading volume to nearly 3.1 million shares from a daily average of about 788,000.

Similarweb (SMWB) reported overnight Q4 non-GAAP operating profit halved amid an increase in revenue.

Shares retreated 29% as intraday trading volume surged to more than 3.8 million from a daily average of roughly 616,000.

STAAR Surgical (STAA) reported late Tuesday it swung to a fiscal Q4 loss on lower net sales and unveiled planned cost-cutting measures. Mizuho Securities downgraded STAAR to neutral from outperform while adjusting its price target to $17 from $45.

Shares slumped 26%, with intraday trading volume catapulting to over 4.6 million versus a daily average of about 607,000.
