智通财经APP获悉，香港财政司司长陈茂波出席金融服务界新春酒会时称，港股大市上升动力可能是市场对未来发展的憧憬，科技股都是重要支撑，科技变革可以提升效率，亦可带来新市场需求和增量发展。他表示，咨询了几个AI语言大模型后，综合出来的关键词都说，是重要动力及潜力巨大。对于蛇年股市的愿望，他认为在当前地缘政治下“审慎看好、乐见更好、越来越好”。
蛇年港股开局表现不错，约两星期升幅已近1600点，平均每日成交额超过2200亿港元，可谓“量价齐升”。
陈茂波预期，将会有更多内地龙头企业到香港上市，提及港交所(00388)1月接获数十份新股上市申请，相信港股市场今年会迎来更多好的企业，流动性将进一步增强。
他说，香港特区政府、监管机构和港交所在提升香港金融市场的工作加速推进，将香港内联外通的独特优势发挥得更好，将互联互通全面拓宽和深化，不论资产和财富管理、家族办公室业务，以及黄金和大宗商品交易等都有广阔发展空间。
