Barclays (BCS) reported Q4 basic earnings Thursday of 0.067 British pounds ($0.084) per ordinary share, swinging from a loss of 0.007 pounds a year earlier.
Analyst estimates were not readily available for comparison.
Total income for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was 6.96 billion pounds, up from 5.6 billion pounds a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected 6.58 billion pounds.
