The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of nine analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 44 cents per share.
The video streaming company posted revenue of $1.2 billion in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Nine analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.15 billion.
For the year, the company reported a loss of $129.4 million, or 89 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $4.11 billion.
