MinRes confirms Ellison exit, board rules no further penalties for MD

Mineral Resources’ embattled board has confirmed that managing director Chris Ellison will depart the miner, and its next chairman will appoint his eventual successor.

The iron ore and lithium miner’s board claimed it found no further corporate governance failures since its damaging report last November that set the clock ticking on Mr Ellison’s exit and imposed millions in penalties on the billionaire for his related party dealings.
