2月12日，据外媒《华尔街日报》报道，萝卜快跑最早于今年上半年在迪拜开始道路测试。知情人士称，百度正在与阿联酋当局进行谈判，计划将其无人驾驶出租车服务引入这个中东国家。

此前，迪拜王储Hamdan bin Mohammed也在社交媒体上发文表示，近日与百度创始人李彦宏在迪拜会面，并称对方就最新技术趋势以及AI如何重塑世界发表了主题演讲。

此前一天，李彦宏出席了在迪拜举办的World Governments Summit 2025峰会，并与阿联酋AI部长奥马尔·苏丹·奥拉马（Omar Sultan AI Olama）进行对谈。李彦宏表示，自动驾驶技术进步非常快，目前，自动驾驶比人开车安全10倍，Robotaxi可以大大降低交通事故死亡率。在中国的复杂路况下，萝卜快跑的实际出险率仅为人类驾驶员的1/14。据统计，萝卜快跑累计行驶里程已超1.3亿公里。

在对谈中，奥拉马对萝卜快跑表示期待，“希望在明年的大会上，所有车队都是由萝卜快跑支持的自动驾驶。”

种种信号显示，萝卜快跑或将出海至阿联酋。《华尔街日报》消息称，萝卜快跑正在迪拜、阿布扎比和利雅得等中东城市以及东南亚加强业务团队的发展。（青山）
