韩国Maeil Business Newspaper报道称，韩国金融监管机构就涉嫌违反做空股票相关规定，对摩根大通、摩根士丹利、瑞银集团和野村控股罚款。

　　报道援引一位未具名官员的话称，韩国金融服务委员会经过长达数月的调查于周三做出了上述决定。该委员会发言人不予置评。

　　Maeil报道称，韩国监管部门自2023年以来一直在调查全球投资银行的做空行为，并确定了其中14家存在违规行为。报道称，官员们计划在下个月做空禁令解禁前敲定相关处罚措施。

　　卖空禁令自2023年11月实施，政府一直在努力遏制其认为系统内存在的违规行为。当局尤其将矛头指向非法“裸卖空”。

　　摩根士丹利、摩根大通和瑞银的代表不予置评。野村发言人表示该公司无法置评。

　　去年12月，巴克莱和花旗集团因涉嫌裸卖空分别被罚款137亿韩元和47亿韩元。

　　法国巴黎银行和汇丰控股因涉嫌违反规定在2023年被处以总计265亿韩元的罚款。韩国一家法院2月11日就非法卖空诉讼案裁定汇丰香港子公司无罪。

　　瑞信集团的两家关联公司去年也支付了271亿韩元罚款。
