XPT Specialty adds Amwins’ Kilpatrick as senior underwriter, personal lines

By Mia MacGregor

Feb 13 - (The Insurer) - Wholesale broker XPT Specialty has appointed former Amwins executive Alana Kilpatrick as senior underwriter for personal lines.

Kilpatrick joins XPT Specialty after five years at Amwins Group, where she served as vice president of personal lines.

Before that, she spent a year at CRC Insurance Services as a transportation underwriter. Earlier in her career, she held various roles over 11 years at family-owned MGA Specialty Risk Associates.

In her new role, Kilpatrick will focus on cultivating partnerships and developing insurance solutions to meet the needs of XPT’s clients.

The company stated that her experience will be instrumental in expanding its personal lines division and strengthening its presence in the E&S marketplace.

“As we continue to expand our personal lines offerings, her leadership in navigating future market changes will be key in delivering the best possible service to our clients,” said Glen Pomeroy, executive vice president of personal lines at XPT Specialty.
