墨西哥总统克劳迪娅·辛鲍姆威胁要对谷歌提起民事诉讼，因该公司继特朗普签署行政令后在其地图服务中将“墨西哥湾”更名为“美国湾”。

　　辛鲍姆周四坚称谷歌在地图服务中对该水域更名是错误之举，表示特朗普的行政令仅适用于美国境内的大陆架。

　　“我们与谷歌存在争议，”辛鲍姆在上午的新闻发布会上说，并补充称她的政府已经与该公司就此问题通信，“如果他们固执己见，我们会考虑提起诉讼。”

　　在美国政府用新名称更新了官方地图后，谷歌本周早些时候做出了相应改变。苹果公司周二表示也在地图应用程序中更改了命名。

　　辛鲍姆感谢不列颠百科全书仍然使用墨西哥湾的名字。她表示虽然谷歌是一家可以自己做决定的私营公司，但她希望其能够进行审查。

　　谷歌没有立即回应置评请求。

　　辛鲍姆在新闻发布会上没有提到苹果公司。对于询问墨西哥政府是否与该公司讨论更名事件的置评请求，她的办公室没有立即予以回复。
