Zoetis Gets Conditional License for Avian Flu Vaccine

Zoetis (ZTS) said Friday that the Center for Veterinary Biologics of the US Department of Agriculture issued a conditional license for the avian influenza vaccine, H5N2 subtype.
The conditional license authorizes the use of the vaccine in chickens, according to the company.
Zoetis said the regulator granted the conditional license based on serology data demonstrating safety, purity, and a reasonable expectation of efficacy.
Shares of Zoetis were down nearly 3% in recent trading.
