Deepak Nitrite Sees Sharp Decline in Fiscal Q3 Consolidated Net Profit; Shares Sink 15%

Deepak Nitrite's (NSE:DEEPAKNTR, BOM:506401) consolidated attributable net profit plunged to 980.9 million Indian rupees in the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2024, against 2.02 billion rupees a year ago.

Earnings per share contracted to 7.19 rupees compared with the year-ago figure of 14.81 rupees, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian stock exchanges by the chemical intermediates manufacturer.

Revenue from operations in fiscal Q3 fell to 19.0 billion rupees from 20.09 billion rupees a year earlier.

Shares of the company were down 15% in recent trade.
