Trump says he wouldn't mind if Nippon Steel took minority stake in U.S. Steel

Feb 14 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday said he wouldn't mind if Japan's Nippon Steel 5401.T took a minority stake in U.S. Steel X.N.

Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump said the company - whose $14.9 billion bid for U.S. Steel was rejected by the President Joe Biden's administration - is now considering an investment, including debt, in U.S. Steel.
