Prudential (HKG:2378, SGX:K6S) bought back 260,000 shares from the London Stock Exchange on Wednesday for an average price of 7.0086 pounds sterling apiece, a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.
The insurer plans to cancel the repurchased shares, following which the company will have 2,637,657,123 shares in issue.
