The a2 Milk Company (ASX:A2M, NZE:ATM) reported Monday earnings of NZ$0.1261 per diluted share, up from NZ$0.1176 per diluted share a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha expected diluted EPS of NZ$0.1142.
Revenue from continuing ordinary activities for the six months to Dec. 31, 2024, was NZ$893.8 million, up past 10% from NZ$812.1 million a year earlier.
Sales were NZ$892.8 million, compared with NZ$811.1 million a year earlier. Analysts polled by Visible Alpha expected NZ$869.8 million.
The dairy company now expects fiscal 2025 revenue growth of low to mid-double-digit percent, compared with prior guidance of mid to high single-digit percent.
The board declared a dividend of NZ$0.085 per share, payable on April 4 to shareholders of record as of March 21.
The company's shares surged almost 14% in recent Monday trade in New Zealand.
