1042 GMT - The luxury sector could see a return to positive earnings momentum, but there is still a high degree of polarization in company performances, UBS analysts say in a note. The fourth-quarter earnings season surprised to the upside with an acceleration in organic sales growth across the board, driven by U.S. consumers and some improvement among the Chinese nationals, UBS says. "Investors need to be more selective, as only a handful of names can see positive earnings revisions," the analysts say. Hermes and Richemont are UBS's top picks. (andrea.figueras@wsj.com)
