Solo Brands Chief Executive Christopher Metz is leaving the company after just over a year in the role.
The outdoor and apparel retailer said Metz, who started as CEO in January 2024, plans to step down, while remaining in a non-executive capacity until March 7. He is set to be succeeded by John Larson, a member of Solo's board of directors, who will serve as an interim chief executive.
Larson joined Solo in December. He was most recently the chief executive of Bestop, which makes soft tops and accessories for Jeeps.
Metz stepped in last year after Solo's previous chief executive, John Merris, left as part of a mutual agreement with the company.
Shares of the company, which makes camping stoves and Chubbies shorts, lost about 63% of its value over the past year.
