Southern Cross Gold Extends High-Grade Mineralization at Victoria Gold-Antimony Project

Southern Cross Gold Ltd (ASX:SX2) extended gold mineralization from drilling at the company's Sunday Creek gold-antimony project in Victoria, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

Drilling at the Rising Sun and Golden Dyke prospects at the project resulted in an intercept of 7.5 meters at 36.2 grams per tonne grade of gold equivalent, extending the known mineralization up to 88 meters down-dip on key structures, the filing said.

The company expects an exploration target update in early March.

Shares of the company fell past 1% in recent Wednesday trade.
