Cleanaway Waste Management (ASX:CWY) reported Wednesday fiscal half-year underlying earnings per share of AU$0.042, up from AU$0.037 a year ago.
Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha expected AU$0.042 per share.
Statutory EPS was unchanged at AU$0.033 compared with the prior year. Analysts polled by Visible Alpha expected AU$0.041.
Revenue from ordinary activities for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2024, was AU$1.94 billion, up 3.7% from AU$1.87 billion a year earlier. Analysts polled by Visible Alpha expected AU$1.98 billion.
The company said fiscal 2025 underlying earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) are tracking towards the midpoint of its guidance range of AU$395 million to AU$425 million, per the filing. It added that it is "confident" that it will deliver its EBIT target of more than AU$450 million in fiscal 2026.
The board declared a dividend of AU$0.028 per share, up from the year-ago period's AU$0.0245, payable on April 10 to shareholders of record as of March 6.
