BYD's (HKG:1211) offer to include free smart driving features on its cars was the subject of complaints on a Chinese auto quality platform, Reuters reported Tuesday.
The comments came from customers who said they had overpaid for their vehicles, the report said.
The platform, 12365auto.com, logged more than 4,700 complaints regarding BYD from Feb. 11 to 17, surging from 150 in the previous week and 500 for January, Reuters said.
BYD models also figured in the top 10 of a list ranking the cars based on complaints received, Reuters said.
