智通财经APP讯，五矿资源(01208)发布公告，于2025年2月18日，买方MMG Singapore Resources Pte. Ltd.(公司全资附属公司)就目标业务(即英美资源于巴西的镍业务，具体包括目标集团(Anglo American Níquel Brasil Ltda及Mineração Tanagra Ltda.)及镍销售业务)的收购事项订立该协议。交割后，目标业务将为集团全资拥有，集团的合并财务报表将合并入账其财务业绩、资产及负债。
公告称，收购事项符合集团的增长战略，旨在扩大其收益、地区覆盖及基本金属商品的品种。这标志着集团首次在巴西进行投资，并将镍加入到其矿产资源量及矿石储量当中。
目标集团是全球最大及成本最低的镍铁生产商之一。 该公司历史运营保持稳定，Barro Alto 及 Codemin 的镍年产量约为 40 千吨，即使在目前的镍价水平下，仍能持续产生正面的运营收益及现金流。该公司在环境及可持续发展措施方面一直保持顶尖的表现，这是目标集团的一个关键优势，将有助于提升公司作为全球领先的可持续发展采矿公司的形象。
应公司要求，股份自2025年2月18日下午一时正起于香港联交所暂停买卖，以待刊发本公布。公司已向香港联交所申请股份自2025年2月19日上午九时正起恢复买卖。
