Sudarshan Pharma Industries (BOM:543828) has received board approval to incorporate a wholly-owned subsidiary in Poland tentatively named Sudarshan Pharma Poland, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
The company will subscribe 100 shares of 50 Polish zloty each of the proposed subsidiaries.
The new company will engage in processing and preserving potatoes and carry out the production of basic organic and inorganic chemicals, fertilizers, nitrogen compounds, pesticides, disinfectants and other agrochemicals, soap and detergents, among other products.
Shares of the company were down nearly 5% in recent trade.
