智通财经APP获悉，意大利米兰检方周三表示，在谷歌(GOOGL.US)同意支付3.26亿欧元(约合3.4亿美元)解决税务索赔后，他们计划撤销对谷歌欧洲分部的起诉。检方在一份声明中说，该协议涵盖了2015年至2019年期间的制裁、罚款和利息。据悉，米兰检方指控谷歌没有为在意大利产生的收入申报和纳税，其依据是谷歌在意大利拥有数字基础设施。
值得一提的是，意大利政府与谷歌曾在2015年就税务纠纷达成和解。当时，谷歌同意赔付意大利政府3.06亿欧元，以结束双方持续一年以上的对峙。双方达成的协议清除了2002年至2015年期间谷歌承担的所有税收义务。此前有报道援引相关调查显示，谷歌将其所得利润登记在爱尔兰，从而不当地逃脱了纳税义务，其缴纳的税款税率远低于意大利24%的企业所得税税率。
