【日本三井物产斥资53.42亿美元投资澳大利亚Rhodes Ridge铁矿石项目】金十期货2月19日讯，据外媒报道，日本三井物产19日宣布将投资53.42亿美元收购西澳大利亚州Rhodes Ridge铁矿石项目40%权益，该项目预计2030年投产，初期年产能4000万吨并计划逐步提升至1亿吨以上。据披露，Rhodes Ridge矿区拥有68亿吨矿产资源储量，属全球最大未开发优质铁矿床之一，其高品位铁矿石预计将满足强劲市场需求。该公司目前在澳大利亚和巴西拥有的铁矿石权益总计每年约6000万吨。Rhode Ridge项目预计将使总产量达到1亿吨。
