HD Renewable Energy Board OKs 5.9 Billion Yen Investment in Japanese Unit

HD Renewable Energy's (TPE:6873) board approved an incremental investment of up to 5.9 billion yen in its Japanese unit, HD Renewable Energy Japan, and the Helios 1 Godo Kaisha energy storage project.

The move aims to expand the company's presence in the overseas energy storage market, according to a Monday Taiwan Exchange filing.

The company will fully acquire its subsidiary and secure a 60% stake in Helios 1, it said.
