James Hardie Industries (ASX:JHX) reported Wednesday that its adjusted earnings per diluted share in the fiscal third quarter fell to $0.36 from $0.41 per diluted share a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet were expecting EPS of $0.35.
Net Sales for the three months ended Dec. 31, 2024, was $953.3 million, down 3% from $978.3 million in the same period a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $965 million.
The manufacturer of building products reaffirmed its fiscal 2025 North American volume guidance of at least 2.95 billion standard feet (bnsf) and second-half North American volume of at least 1.48 (bnsf).
JHX also reaffirmed fiscal 2025 total adjusted net income of at least $635 million. It expects capital expenditure for fiscal 2025 of about $420 million, at the lower end of its previous guidance range of $420 million to $440 million.
