Transurban Group Swings to Loss in Fiscal H1 as Revenue Declines

Transurban (ASX:TCL) reported Thursday a loss per diluted share of AU$0.015 in the fiscal first half, compared with earnings per diluted share of AU$0.066 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Visible Alpha were expecting EPS of AU$0.087.

Revenue from ordinary activities for the six months to Dec. 31, 2024, was AU$1.83 billion, down from AU$2.13 billion in the same period a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha expected AU$2.04 billion.

The board declared an interim dividend of AU$0.32 per share, up from the AU$0.30 in the previous reported period, payable on Feb. 25 to shareholders on record as of Dec. 31, 2024.
