--UniCredit could speed up the sale of its business in Russia if there is a breakthrough on the Ukraine war, the Financial Times reported, citing an interview with Andrea Orcel, chief executive officer of the Italian bank.
--The end of the conflict could allow the lender to get more attractive terms to sell the unit and exit the market, the FT reported, citing Orcel.
--Orcel had recently said he won't sell the Russian business for a price that isn't fair.
