China Resources Power Output Decreases 5% in January

China Resources Power's (HKG:0836) net output from subsidiary power plants fell 4.7% year over year in January to 18.0 million megawatt-hours, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.

Power generation from subsidiary wind farms came in at 4.3 million megawatt-hours, up 14% year-on-year, while the photovoltaic plants saw a 45% year-over-year boost in power generation to 565,676 megawatt-hours.

Hydro plants saw a 19% increase in output to 162,395 megawatt-hours, and thermal plants saw a decline of 11% in the reporting month to 13.0 million megawatt-hours.
