格隆汇2月20日｜英国工业联合会(CBI)周四表示，尽管由于税收和能源成本上升以及出口环境困难，英国工厂整体形势依然疲弱，但预计未来三个月产量将出现温和回升。2月工业产出预期差值从1月的-19大幅上升至+8，达到三个月高点，并回归其长期平均水平。CBI首席经济学家Ben Jones表示：“由于企业迅速消耗了成品库存，重建库存的需求可能在一定程度上解释了这一反弹。然而，从长期来看，订单量仍然较弱。”工业订单差值从-34回升至-28，略高于预期，但仍低于其长期平均水平-13。Jones还表示：“调查结果描绘了过去三个月制造业的低迷状况，这在一定程度上可归因于去年秋季预算后国内商业信心低迷，以及国际市场环境疲软。”
