Regis Resources (ASX:RRL) reported Thursday earnings per diluted share in the fiscal first half of AU$0.116, compared with a loss of AU$0.122 per diluted share a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Visible Alpha were expecting an EPS of AU$0.109.
Revenue for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2024, was AU$777.3 million, up from AU$550.1 million in the same period a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha expected AU$771 million.
For fiscal 2025, the mining firm reaffirmed its production guidance of 350,000 ounces to 380,000 ounces at an all-in-sustaining cost of AU$2,440 to AU$2,740 per ounce.
The board did not declare an interim dividend.
The company's shares were up almost 1% in recent Thursday trade.
