Optiscan Imaging (ASX:OIL) revealed its next-generation microscopic medical imaging device InForm specifically designed for pathology workflows, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The device can be used in a variety of pathology settings, most notably in laboratory medicine, pathology practice, point-of-care, and digital pathology, the filing added.
The new device expands the company into the pathology market, per the filing.
Company shares rose almost 7% in recent Wednesday trade.
