UnitedHealth Group's (UNH) UnitedHealthcare has offered buyouts under a voluntary resignation program to some employees in its benefits operations unit, CNBC reported Wednesday.
Employees have until March 3 to accept the buyout, and if the company does not reach a certain resignation quota, layoffs may follow.
Those who do not accept the buyout may remain in their current role or transition to a comparable position, according to the report.
UnitedHealth did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
