Majorana 1使用了全球首个拓扑导体,这种突破性材料能够观察和控制马约拉纳粒子。微软相信这一进展将使其能够在本十年末制造出实用的量子计算机,并最终超越该领域的其他公司。Majorana 1处理器的新架构可在单个芯片上容纳百万量子比特,从而创建一个全尺寸的量子计算机。
此外微软首发生成式人工智能工具Muse,用于创建视频游戏场景,模型工具的数据来自Xbox玩家和他们的游戏手柄。
