Wingstop Sees More Selective Consumers -- Market Talk

1054 ET - Wingstop benefited from a long stretch of keeping its price increases low while other fast-food chains boosted their costs, but is now navigating fast-food companies rolling out deals. Wingstop says in a 4Q earnings call that consumers are being selective with their purchases, and the chicken chain says it continues to measure well in value for money with diners. Wingstop gave lower same-store sales growth guidance for 2025 than some inventors had hoped for. Wingstop sinks 10%.(heather.haddon@wsj.com; @heatherhaddon)
