【环球网财经综合报道】据路透社报道，Nikola 于当地时间周三宣布申请第11章破产保护，并将寻求出售资产，成为又一家因市场需求疲软、资金消耗过快和融资困难而陷入困境的美国电动汽车制造商。

近年来，作为美国造车新势力的代表，菲斯克、普罗特拉和Lordstown Motor因高利率和需求疲软导致资本密集型运营资金枯竭而申请破产。"与电动汽车行业的其他公司一样，我们面临各种市场和宏观经济因素的影响"，Nikola 首席执行官Steve Girsky称，“不幸的是，我们竭尽全力仍未能克服这些重大挑战”。
