Medallion Metals (ASX:MM8) said diamond drilling at its Ravensthorpe gold project in Western Australia intercepted 3.5 meters of semi-massive to massive sulfides 85 meters into the footwall of the main lode position at the Harbor View deposit, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The assay results from the interpreted mineralized zone of the parent hole are expected to be received in April as the mining firm evaluates its next steps.
Visually, the hole displays semi-massive to massive pyrite-chalcopyrite mineralization from a depth of around 181 meters.
It plans to release an updated underground mineral resource estimate for the Kundip mining center at the project anticipated for release in the first half of the year.
