Regis Resources' Says Ore Reserves Rise in December 2024 at Western Australia JV

Regis Resources (ASX:RRL) said total ore reserves at its Tropicana joint venture in Western Australia grew by nearly 1 million ounces (Moz) of gold since 2018, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

Mineral reserves at the JV were 5.4 Moz as of Dec. 31, 2024, which includes 1.1 Moz open pit mineral resources, 3.9 Moz underground mineral resources, and 400,000 oz stockpiled mineral resources, the filing said.

Ore reserves were 1.9 Moz, which includes 1 Moz open pit ore reserves, 600,000 oz underground ore reserves, and 300,000 oz of stockpiled ore reserves, the filing added.

The company's share of mineral resources estimate as of Dec. 31, 2024, at the JV was 27 million tonnes at 1.9 grams per tonne (g/t) gold for 1.6 Moz. Its share of ore reserve estimate was 11 Mt at 1.6 g/t Au for 600,000 oz.

Shares of RRL fell nearly 1% in recent Thursday trade.
